Find Your Own Pace
Some travellers want to be steps from the action. Others want birdsong, a village lane and a slow breakfast. The Susegad Score helps you understand a stay before you book.
Beyond Star Ratings
Susegad is a Goan word for an unhurried, contented way of living. Star ratings tell you about facilities. The Susegad Score tells you how a place will feel: how quiet your mornings will be, how much of local Goa is around you and how easily you can wander.
Each property profile scores four dimensions from 1 to 5 and explains what the scores mean for that stay.
Peace & quiet
How calm the setting is, based on location and verified information such as nearby roads, venues and neighbours.
Local character
How strongly the stay connects guests with local architecture, food or culture.
Walkability
How easily everyday places and points of interest can be reached on foot.
Distance from crowds
How removed the stay is from busy visitor areas.

About the Score
Is the Susegad Score a star rating?
No. It describes a stay’s character, not its luxury level. A simple village homestay can score as highly as a five-star resort.
How is the score decided?
Each dimension is scored from 1 to 5 using consistent criteria and verified property and location information, not guesswork.
Does it replace guest reviews?
No. It supplements reviews, quality checks and safety information, which you should always consider too.
