Monsoon Goa: The Green Season

Rain-washed landscapes, misty hills, cosy stays and seasonal flavours make a different kind of Goa escape.

From June to September the rain arrives and Goa turns a deep, glowing green. Paddy fields are planted, rivers fill, waterfalls spill off the hills and the crowds thin out.

It is the season locals love most. You trade sunbathing for cosy verandas, seasonal food, monsoon festivals and walks through misty countryside.
