Stays in the Goa Hinterland

Spice farms, temples, waterfalls and the forests of the Western Ghats.

Drive an hour east of the beaches and Goa becomes a land of plantations, temples, rivers and forested hills. This is the hinterland: Ponda, Dharbandora, Sanguem, Sattari and the protected forests of the Western Ghats.

Stay at a farm or eco-lodge, wake to birdsong, and explore waterfalls, spice gardens and village temples.
